DJ McINTYRE
1st Vice President

DJ began attending Lions Club Meetings with her mother, Treasurer Betsy Grenevitch. As a child of a blind Mom, DJ has started an online community for Children Raised Around the Blind (CRAB). In this community, she shares what life has been like to be raised by a blind parent and interacts with others to share experiences and learn from one another.

As a result of these efforts, DJ also holds the position  of District 18-I Vision Chair and will be educating Lions and communities in the District about vision needs and legislative efforts.

She has two children, Rachel (4) and Daniel (1). and enjoys volunteering with the blind and low vision community, as well as Lions community events.

CAROL DONARSKI

Treasurer

Carol was born and raised in Kansas City, MO and moved to Columbus, OH in 1959 when her father, a pastor of a Christian church, was transferred, along with one sister and one brother (who are now deceased).

She moved to the Atlanta area in 1972 with her now-late husband, and has four children and 23 grandchildren, including nine great-grandchildren.

She and her husband Tom have now been married for fifteen years and between that relationship, several businesses that she has owned, and her involvement in Lions Club, she feels truly blessed to have these things in her life!

TIFFANY ELLIS

Leo Advisor

Tiffany grew up in New Orleans where she lived until Hurricane Katrina relocated her to the Atlanta area, where she met her husband Rich and moved to Loganville in 2013.  Through a series of circumstances that shoed the two of them that there was a need for positive influence and alternative places for young people to hang out, they decided to create Controller Game Lounge, a state-of-the-art gaming facility (we used to call it an arcade!) that gives kids the ability to have fun with their friends in a safe environment and with positive influences.

It is this passion for the next generation that led Ms. Ellis to not only get involved in the Legacy Lions but also to take on the role of Leo Advisor, even as the Leo Club was forming! Her positive energy, ability to pivot and resilience give her the skills and talents to add a "joi de vivre" to the community and even difficult situations.

REV. DAVID HARPER

Chaplain

David is a rare breed- a sixth generation Atlantan on my father’s side who grew up in Lakewood Heights. He graduated from Fulton High School in 1969 and attended Georgia Tech from 1969-1970 on an R.O.T.C. scholarship... but God had other plans for the Reverend, and he graduated from Florida Bible College in Miami, earned a Master of Divinity at Luther Rice Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Harper has served three Baptist churches and a Presbyterian Church in for over 20 years and then spent the next 17 years working for a foodservice broker until...

He and his wife discovered Holy Cross Anglican Church which they joined in 2011. I was ordained a priest in 2019 and joined the staff, serving till 2021.

David and his wife of 50 years, Debbie have three daughters and three grandchildren who keep them young894.
An important aside, Reverend Harper and his twin brother got guitars one Christmas as kids and have played ever since. They can still be found playing around the area- Rockin’ in the free world!

JESS THOMPSON
Club Administrator

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Jess earned her B.S. in biology from Elon University in North Carolina and has been a laboratory supervisor at Georgia Gwinnett College since the early 2000’s. She loves training in multiple martial arts with her husband, Darren, and modifying these arts to serve as rehabilitation exercises for students with various needs. She also enjoys symphonic metal, cooking, Jeopardy, and, of course, serving with her fellow Loganville Legacy Lions!

WAYNE WHITE
Club Historian

Wayne, known to many as "the Pecan Whisperer", has been an integral part of the Loganville Legacy Lions since its inception in 2011. A former sales executive, Wayne retired to Loganville with his wife Sue, and continued his giving spirit in the community.

In 2022, Mr. White moved to Decatur to be close to his daughter, and STILL makes his presence known and felt in Loganville, through his involvement in the Loganville Legacy Lions Club as well as with Holy Cross Anglican Church, where he remains a member.

CHUCK LYNCH
Fund Raising Director

Chuck Lynch is the founding President of the Loganville Legacy Lions Club. A long-time educator and later textbook sales rep, Chuck has spent his life giving to those around him who he saw were in need.

In later life, Chuck became an advertising sales agent for the Walton Tribune, where he was exposed to many of the different groups and people in the Loganville and Walton County areas. This led to him and others to decide to bring an updated sense of Lionism to the area, and the Loganville Legacy Lions Club was born!

Chuck is a 2022 inductee into the prestigious Georgia Lion District 18-I Hall of Fame for his ongoing commitment to the community and to helping others through service.
